On the occasion of the inauguration of the 2022 Palma International Boat Show to be held from today until May 1, 2022 in Palma de Mallorca, Officine Panerai unveils the new Officine Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition – PAM 1241 which debuts together with the luxury day BRABUS Shadow 900 Deep Blue boat. Made in a limited series of 200 pieces, this watch is the second Officine Panerai model born from the collaboration with Brabus, a German luxury engineering brand specializing in high-performance vehicles. The goal of this collaboration, which began with the presentation of the Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Black Ops Edition (PAM 1240) model inspired by the design of the BRABUS “Shadow Black Ops” yacht line, is to increase its presence and visibility both in the world watchmaking as well as in the nautical sector. Given that both brands are linked to the marine world, we could only propose a new Submersible model.
Together with the PAM 1240, the PAM 1241 is the first limited edition watch of fake panerai‘s historic diving instrument with a skeletonized automatic caliber. The skeletonized structure is emphasized by the addition of the letter S in the name of the watch itself to indicate “skeletonized”. Its 47mm diameter case is made of titanium using DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) 3D printing technology which guarantees strength and lightness at the same time. The unidirectional counter-clockwise rotating bezel with a graduated scale for calculating diving times is made of carbotech. The case houses the P.4001 / S automatic manufacture caliber based on the P.4000 caliber (341 components, 31 jewels, Glucydur® balance wheel, 28,800 vibrations / hour, KIF Parechoc® shockproof device, two barrels, off-centered oscillating weight in tungsten alloy). The replica watches, with transparent sapphire crystal caseback, has the GMT function, an am / pm indicator and guarantees a power reserve of three days. The power reserve, visible on the back side, has a sapphire crystal disc indicator coated in Super-LumiNova ™. To highlight the patented polarized date window which allows you to view the date through the opening at 3 o’clock without covering the skeletonized movement mechanism. The PAM 1241 is proposed with two straps, one of which combines calfskin and black rubber and a second in dark blue rubber to recall the blue details on the dial.
