To celebrate the start of a lasting partnership, fake tag heuer and Nintendo have created a limited edition timepiece featuring the famous Super Mario character. The intrepid hero comes to life in this luxury smartwatch, with a dial that becomes livelier and more animated the more the wearer is active. The animations are based on the gamification rewards system: Mario greets the user with a welcome greeting in the morning and, as time and accumulated steps advance, offers a different animation on the dial when reaching each stage of the daily goal (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%). These animations take the form of famous Super Mario objects: at 3 o’clock the Super Mushroom that makes Mario grow, at 6 o’clock the Tube that allows him to travel fast and at 9 o’clock the Super Star lights up making him invincible. When 100% of the daily step goal is reached, Mario climbs the Flag Pole, another iconic feature of the video game. The interactive interface (which will be pre-installed on the fake tag heuer Connected Super Mario Limited Edition, but TAG Heuer will also make it available for other editions of fake tag heuer Connected at a later stage) has been completely redesigned in Super Mario colors and with four revisited dials that include details associated with the superhero. The Timekeeping dial features a new graphic made with retro elements from the 1985 version of Super Mario Bros., with pixelated Mario. In addition, two versions of the Heuer 02 dial have been created exclusively for this edition: a fun interpretation with the iconic red and blue colors of Super Mario, and a more classic one with delicate red hints of the Super Mario cap. Finally, the neural network of the Orbital quadrant has been replaced by the iconic Super Mario elements that revolve around a mesmerizing movement. Even externally, the fake tag heuer Connected Limited Edition has been designed, with the notches on the bezel, buttons and logo on the crown that are now offered in the lacquered red color of the Super Mario cap. The bezel features three iconic symbols at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, referencing the Super Mario objects included in the animations of the dial that the user can unlock and discover only when he reaches certain objectives during the day. The new steel case is equipped with two interchangeable straps, both in red: one in black leather on a red rubber and a sporty alternative in perforated red rubber. Mario’s M is engraved on the buckles of the straps and on the crown. Finally, the screw-down caseback features the special “TAG Heuer x Super Mario Limited Edition” lettering. The watch is offered in a package designed exclusively for this collaboration and also supplied with a Super Mario red travel case.
