The link between replica watches and engines has resulted in numerous timepieces and multiple collaborations. One of the latter concerns two historic brands such as the British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and replica Breitling. The result is the Top Time Triumph chronograph, with an ice blue “Zorro” dial with a brushed finish, on which the Breitling logo at 12 and the Triumph logo at 6 stand. The “Zorro” dial, well known to fans of the brand, is obtained dividing the dial itself into four sectors, with those at 3 and 9 o’clock in a contrasting color with those at 6 and 12. In this case, Breitling has opted for two different shades of ice blue, as well as reserving a vertical satin finish or horizontal to the different coupled sectors. In addition, Triumph has unveiled a limited edition of 270 pieces of the Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition, whose buyers will be granted the privilege of being able to purchase a special customized version of the Top Time Triumph, called “Speed Twin Owners”, characterized by a dial always ice blue color, but uniformly brushed and with individual limited series number engraved on the caseback (orders for these special versions must reach Triumph by 22 August). The Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition features several elements customized with the Breitling name or logo, as well as being characterized by a strap in a tone in line with the color of the watch face. The watch has a 41 mm steel case, a black perforated calfskin strap and is powered by the Breitling 23 caliber (based on ETA, COSC chronometer), automatic mechanical. Speaking of this new collaboration, Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling, said: “The tradition of Triumph, combined with the modern-retro aesthetic, are two of the many qualities we have in common. The fusion of tradition and technology that distinguishes Triumph is perfectly in line with our spirit ”.
